Allow me to introduce myself, My name is Jess Goodwin. I'm probably the guy your mother warned you about. Maybe not so much anymore, (in my old age *smiles*) but geez could I tell you some stories... If you ever get to know me and we become friends, I'm sure you'll probably hear a few. Maybe we'll even make some fun memories ourselves one day, who knows?? But if our paths never cross, and we never share a laugh or a good time together, peace to you anyway!! I hope life treats you well. Just remember, The good times are the best times...
I guess since you're still reading, I'll tell you a little about me. My birthday is in September (1972) and I'm a Virgo. I'm 6'3" Tall with brown hair and brown eyes. I love to have fun (doesn't everybody?) and I am also serious when it's time to be. I've been told I have a great sense of humor and I guess I'd have to agree with whoever said it :-)~
I have many cool friends, past
present and future, so I must be alright to be around... Some of my favorite things in life are playing and writing music. I love to sing, and I play guitar and drums. I'm also working on my first novel (isn't everybody?). It's kind of "Action/Adventure" with a "Science Fiction" twist, and the plot centers around a new Super Hero that I've created. The world needs another one right??...
I like watching movies, good food, good company, romance, vacationing, dancing, listening to my CD collection, and working on my computers. My absolute favorite type of music is "Swing", and my favorite band is The Squirrel Nut Zippers. I also like Brian Setzer, Big Bad Vodoo Daddy, The Stray Cats, Bad Livers, and The Cherry Poppin' Daddies. None the less, being a musician since I was twelve, I listen to and enjoy many other types of music. I enjoy "Punk Rock" and "Heavy Metal" (the favorites from my early teenage years), "Alternative" Rock and Grungy type stuff, "Hip Hop" and Dance Mix style music (dancing rules!!), and I've always loved Classic good old "Rock and Roll". I've even been known to listen to anything from Beethoven or Bach, Rap, or songs about men and women lying and cheating and/or drinking (or should I say "Country"). Just kidding, to any Country Music fans...
For a career I've chosen to try and master computer technology. I'll let you know when I do, if ever...
So far I've earned one degree in Computer Science (Programming and Networking), I graduated in January,1999. I hope one day to turn it into a Phd... I am currently self employed as a freelance Computer Science Engineer.
